FSSC 22000 v6 launched

The Foundation FSSC published new version of the scheme – FSSC 22000 v6, in April 2023. All FSSC 22000 v5.1 certified clients should upgrade their implemented FSSC 22000 v5.1 documented management systems to the new requirements set by the FSSC 22000 v6, between 01st of April 2024 and 31st of March 2025. All certifications not upgraded to FSSC 22000 v6 by 31.03.2025 will be automatically withdrawn in the Assurance Platform after this date.

An upgrade audit is a full audit against the new FSSC 22000 v6 requirements and may be conducted announced or unannounced as planned on your 3-years audit program where audits duration for the audits until the end of current 3-years certification cycle may be increased resulted changes in ISO documents.

All transition audits must be conducted no later than 90 days prior to 31st of March 2025 at the latest (depending on your planning for audits to be held as per the 3-years audit program), and these can be regular annual surveillance or recertification audits.
